Important Information Regarding the Reopening of Our Offices

Please Read Message in Its Entirety for Rules and Procedures

Office Promise:

The coronavirus (COVID-19) has brought unprecedented changes to our world and our way of life. The challenges we have all faced have been countless, personal, difficult, and life-changing. Caring for you and keeping us all safe is of paramount importance to us.

We have taken into consideration many factors in regard to re-opening our office to safely see you for your medical needs. We have consulted with peers and looked at the examples of those who have already opened their businesses. Each industry has different needs therefore there is no one cookie-cutter way to re-open every business whether it be a restaurant, a retail store, a gym, or a medical office.

Here are the steps we have taken to ensure the cleanliness of our office and the safety of all those who work at and visit PPMA when we do open our office in the next few weeks.

  • We have removed all magazines, snacks, and coffee to limit the amount of hand to hand exposure (we will still have bottled water available).
  • We will stagger the patient appointments to limit the number of people in the office at any given time.
  • We are thoroughly cleaning all surfaces, door handles and counters before and after each appointment.
  • All employees will wear protective masks and/or face shields as well as gloves.

Patient Procedures:

  • If you or anyone in your household are experiencing flu-like symptoms (cough, fever, sneezing, etc.) you must first have a telemedicine visit with your physician who will decide the best course of treatment. Please do not come to the office.
  • All patients will be required to wear a mask upon entering the building and office.

Please Remember These Tips:

  1. Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds (sing the ABC’s while you wash);
  2. Follow the recommendations of the CDC website to protect yourself;
  3. Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze;
  4. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth;
  5. Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe;
  6. Eat nutritious foods and continue to take your medications;
  7. Practice social distancing until further notice;
  8. Stay home when you are sick.
