Dr. Kathryn Cardoza

MD

Dr. Kathryn Cardoza is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.  She graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), received her medical degree from David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and completed her internal medicine residency at Stanford Health Care.

After residency, Dr. Cardoza worked as a hospitalist and primary care provider at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.  In that capacity, she also served as an Assistant Professor at UCLA and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, helping train resident physicians and medical students.  As an Orange County native, Dr. Cardoza is excited to have returned home to practice in, and give back to, her local community. She holds a medical staff position at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian.

Dr. Cardoza believes it is the relationships with her patients that make her career meaningful. Through understanding her patients’ experiences and values, she is able to work together with them to create healthcare plans that align with their lifestyle and goals, and make a longer-lasting impact on their health. Her emphasis on preventative health care enables her to prevent diseases or to catch them early to treat and minimize the effect on her patients’ well-being.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Cardoza enjoys practicing yoga, playing beach volleyball, paddle boarding, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
