- Focus your goal based on a “Lifestyle Change” not a diet or weight loss
- Clean out your pantry and refrigerator
- Donate any processed or prepackaged foods to your local food charity
- Go online and pick a couple of recipes for meals for the week
- Make a shopping list that includes real food (meat, vegetables, fruit, healthy fat)
- Choose foods that are located on the outside perimeters of the grocery store
- Keep it simple so that you achieve your goals
