Medicine the Way it Should Be!

This Month’s Nutrition Meet Up

Trust Your Gut: The Brain and Gut Connection

Your brain talks to your gut, and your gut talks back. If you’ve ever had a “gut feeling,” you’ve experienced this communication. It’s how the thought of an exciting event can make you feel “butterflies in your stomach,” while the thought of something dreadful might be “gut-wrenching.” And it’s how the feeling in your gut can influence your decision-making, as in “going with your gut”.

Join registered dietitian and nutritionist Meg Tancredi on Wednesday, September 24 at 3:30 pm when she will discuss how your brain and digestive system have evolved together to help you survive and the importance of this connection for maintaining overall health and well-being. You’ll also learn which everyday foods can nourish your gut, support brain health, and keep stress and digestion in balance.

By signing up you’ll receive:

  • A live 30-minute session.
  • A 15-minute Q & A period.
  • A live recording will be provided for future reference. So, if you miss the meeting you will still receive this valuable info.

REGISTRATION ENDS MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 22

WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 24

Even if you are unable to attend this meeting, please sign up as we will send you a video recording to view at your convenience.
