Lauren Papanos

MS, RD, CSSD

Lauren is board certified by the Commission on Dietetic Registration as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.

Lauren received her Bachelor’s Degree in food, nutrition, and dietetics, with a minor in combined sciences from Stephen F. Austin State University. She also holds her Master’s Degree in Nutritional Sciences with a specialty in integrative nutrition from Stephen F. Austin State University. Here she also completed the nationally accredited Dietetic Internship, where she worked in various inpatient, outpatient, and community settings training under established Registered Dietitians.

During her Dietetic Internship she spent time training at the Institute of Lifestyle, Family, and Preventive Medicine, working under a gastrointestinal specialist dietitian. She then went on to complete a fellowship at Texas A&M University. She has spent most of her career running a private practice where she specializes in integrative nutrition, specifically as it relates to hormones, metabolism, digestion, and wellness. She also has worked as a performance dietitian for Division I Universities like the University of California, Los Angeles and Texas Tech. There she served as the coordinator of clinical nutrition and team performance dietitian for intercollegiate athletics.

Lauren is a native of San Diego, California and considers Southern California home. She loves to travel, exercise, and spend time outdoors.

Romana Brennan

MS, RD

Romana Brennan is board certified by the Commission on Dietetic Registration as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.

Romana received her Bachelor’s Degree in Integrative Biology, with a minor in Spanish from the University of California, Berkeley. She holds her Master’s Degree in Nutrition, Healthspan, and Longevity from the University of Southern California. Here she also completed her dietetic supervised practice, training under Registered Dietitians in a variety of inpatient, outpatient, community, research, and private practice settings.

During her supervised practice, Romana especially enjoyed training with functional medicine dietitian Kaytee Hadley, at Holistic Health and Wellness, where she dove deeper into understanding the mind-body connection and the importance of gut health as a foundation for overall health. She has partnered with Lauren Papanos in her private practice, where they specialize in integrative nutrition, specifically as it relates to hormones, metabolism, digestion, and wellness. She also works at the UCLA Center for Human Nutrition, serving on both the clinical nutrition and nutrition research teams.

Romana is a Southern California native, and loves playing soccer, hiking, and trying new restaurants.
